Playing around avoiding my work, so I wrote this...

I'm like a ukelele
It's hard to keep me in tune
But I'm cute and I'm small and I'm portable
Sometimes simply adorable
So sing with me under the moon

I'm like a faulty lantern
I flicker and sometimes I dim
But when it gets dark
I light up my heart
So take me on your midnight swim

Please forgive my tears and my holes
Cuz I'll keep you warm and cozy for sure
So put me on whenever you're cold

I know I have many flaws,
Many dents, but it's because
I've loved, and lost
And paid the cost
But here is what I've learned
Happiness does not come free
It has to be earned
