Well I got this word Tickety-boo and thought I'd write a song around it using trite sayings and inspirational blurb and this is it. It's my break-up song, obviously I'm still married

The expression may have originated in Scotland, where it's the title of a children's song called "Everything is Tickety-boo" which was recorded by Danny Kaye as part of the film "Merry Andrew"

To me it's middle-class England in the 40s and 50s meaning everything is just splendid

I like the singing some lines and speaking other lines,  it gives a great contrast.
