Two old friends meet in Heaven.....................
How The Grass has Grown (Lyrics)
What are you doing up this way
i thought i'd never see you again
i haven't see you since i don't know when
since we were little children
oh how the grass has grown
how, how the grass has grown

we were two little boys playing war with our toys
I never would have believed what would happen
the way life would treat me so mean
Batter my dreams and rip me up at the seems
literally thats what happened on that long lost lonely road in Hellman
oh how the grass has grown
how the grass has grown

 solo

first a flash then a roar
then i felt my soul, no more
a darkness became a blackness
i was gone
i was no more
i was lost on that lonely road in Hellman oh yeah i was just no more
till the gates opened and you here to help me in
what the hell are you doing here
what the hell, what the hell  are you doing here

oh how i wish it was like yesterday
when we were those two little boys
But i'm so pleased to see you, although the circumstances are quite bad
i can't think of worse but it's funny i just don't feel sad
i just come to realize how tall that grass had grown
i just come to realize how tall the grass has grown

it's strange to think that we both dead, and our souls live on
so i guess we've got plenty of time time, got time to write this song
so maybe it's not that bad as now i know i'm never going to die
Gonna live it up, up here in the clouds is where it all begins once more
as the rolling rock of life rolls the dice once more

Instant Classic.
Expressive vocals and love the effects.
Music has that classic 60's vibe going on.

This needs way more comments, pure class!

Agree that it has 60's feel to it, the style and delivery of it sounds very reminiscent of a protest song from that era, particularly when the sound effects come in during the solo.

The way the vocal shifts throughout is fabulous, so much control as you go through the ranges.

Blinding song this.

Great lyrical idea, the words flow very nicely.
I like the guitar work and the sound effects during the solo.
Your vocals are killer as usual.

The intro and the electric guitar are great.  Vocals and lyrics are A+ as well.
