When I plugged in my power supply into my MBR,a burning smell and a puff of smoke came out, needless to say this no longer works, luckily the MBR still works with batteries, is there any way this can be fixed.
I,ve got a BR80, but I think the MBR is the superior machine.
Any advice would be so much appreciated.

The burnt odor is indicative of a fried transformer. Give it last rites and buy a new one.

I assume the burning smell and smoke came from the Micro BR, not the PSA power adapter. If it's the BR, then your best bet is to phone Roland, tell them what happened, and ask for an estimate. They've repaired lots of Micro BRs for the same reason - fried power section - so they should be able to give you a pretty good idea how much it will cost. The parts cost peanuts. Unfortunately, the labour could be quite expensive. Depending on the estimate they give you, you might be better off buying another Micro BR, if you can find one. Or, since you have a BR-80 too, just use your Micro BR on batteries.

Good luck, and let us know what happens.
