thanks for this alfredo, despite my man flu it was a pleasure to do this.

and in a bit of synchronicity a few hours before i got the song to sing, i had been watching an interview of harry belafonte on sky arts channel.

he is a fine and very inspiring member of the human race.

couldn't find the interview but found this. tho alfredo based his version on a fellow italians take.

"Jamaica Farewell" was recorded by Sam Cooke and included on his 1960 album "Cooke's Tour", so this qualifies for both fests.
