Since you say that you want to correct mistakes in Logic Pro, then MIDI is what you need. Just remember that MIDI is not sound, it's commands. So you'll want to send the MIDI commands from the MIDI track in Logic Pro back to the TD-30K module to trigger the sounds, then send the audio output from the TD-30K module back to the Logic Pro mix so you can record it. I believe all of that can be done over USB, so you don't need any additional cables.

Thanks 64 , i presume  a midi to USB cable ok for sending the midi to the MBP , then USB to USB for the audio , or can you send left & right jack out of the brain to an audio interface then into the MBP

Any of those options would work but I don't think they're necessary. All you should need is an ordinary USB cable since the TD-30K can (I believe) send and receive both MIDI and audio over USB. All you should need to do is set the input and output devices of your Logic Pro MIDI track to the TD-30K. Exactly how you'd do that I can't tell you as I've never used Logic Pro and don't have a Mac. If you get totally stuck on it, let me know and I'll download the Logic Pro manual and see if I can find out how to do it. Or maybe there are some Logic Pro users here who could advise you.

Hey 64, I have to say that this is amazing to me. Your generosity with your time & your commitment to this site & its members just floors me. I know you did this same thing for me when I was using the dp004 and I couldn't for the life of me think of why you would have  spent your time reading a manual of a recorder you weren't ever going to use. Realising the improbability of it happening, I do wish to one day  shake your hand and buy you  a beer.
You do rock sir, you do rock!
