music calms the savage beast

hey dont you touch that dial
thats what im listening to
it may not be to your taste
but its to mine
it helps me concentrate
keeps my mind on track
prepares me for the road ahead
and any turns and bends
stops me getting agitated
helps contain my rage
keeps that busy traffic off my mind
i like to hear that song
when im heading to work
helps to clear my thoughts
and get me ready for the day
i like to sing along
tap my fingers to the beat
on the steering wheel
of my ole beat up heap
hey! don't you touch that dial

Beautiful. And that's quite a musical palette you have to work with now... guitar, uke, kaosillator, juno. This is a really strong song - I like it stripped back just fine, but I can hear a big production version too.
