One would have to live in Toronto to fully appreciate this song.

The last time they won the Stanley Cup.....1967
The most profitable team in the NHL.....The Toronto Maple Leafs
The team that is always sold out at their Home Games.....The Toronto Maple Leafs
The biggest bunch of sucker fans.......Torontonians

Now you might begin to understand the Love / Hate relationship with our team.

Hey they won last night and a shutout from the backup goalie..LOL

Very cool tune Tony. You captured the feel of dissappointment.

All in all, i`ll never jump the bandwagon. I bleed blue & white!  I`m dedicated to my teams. And it`s where i live. How the hell would i celebrate rooting for San Jose if they won??

Yes it`s been 45 years but if everyone won once a year it`s once every 30 years so those odds aren`t that bad..Haha

I grew up in Burlington, Ont.  Saw my fair share of games at the old Gardens.  I have to admit that my fav team was always the Red Wings, but rooted for the Leafs too. Great song.  I like the vocals, reminds me of Gord Downie a little.  Or maybe Skydiggers.  How about them Tiger-Cats.

I think this is the most beautiful song written for a hockey team, ever :) . Very melodic song! Well done, Tony!

Kari, a hockey fan too.

This is great! An anthem for sports fans everywhere! So many people will relate to that love-hate relationship with their team. There are some brilliant melodies and hooks in here, and I love the way you sing it. There's such a poignant edge, and it kind of reminds me of 'Science Fiction Double Feature' from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Fantastic stuff!
