When use BR800 as an interface or control surface, I go through input #4 on BR800 (of course changing input selection). My question is can I use a multi fx processor between the guitar and BR800 and the DAW record it the same?

Also Hydrogen question, does anyone have any suggestions on creating rhythms in the GUI hydrogen uses. I get bass ackwards in it.

Thanks Greg

I'm not sure if I understand this. Are you saying that you're plugging your guitar into Input 4? You should plug your guitar into the Guitar jack. Or maybe you're saying that you want to record guitar and vocals at the same time, so you're using "GTR & INPUT4" as the input source, with your guitar plugged into the Guitar jack and a mic plugged into Input 4?

You can connect your guitar to a multi-effects unit and connect the multi effects unit to the BR. However, the output level of the multi effects unit might not be ideally suitable for the Guitar input. Also, the output of most multi effects units is stereo and the Guitar input is mono. So you should probably connect the multi effects unit to the BR's Line In jacks. That's fine if you just want to record your guitar. But if you want to use a mic at the same time, you're out of luck because the only Input Source setting that includes the Line Input does not include any other inputs.

Yes I go throught the #4 mono on the MBR. I tried going through the guitar jack, I must have done something wrong. I've been working at this :)
