Stripped back to two layers of Tanglewood acoustic (one recorded via the MBR mic, the other plugged in), MBR rhythm, and just a dash of TJ pipe organ. I recorded the backing vox live as I recorded the left panned guitar part.

It's a different kind of love song, but a love song all the same.

*** NOTE: PLEASE SEE THE HENWRENCHED VERSION FURTHER DOWN - THAT ONE IS NOW THE OFFICIAL VERSION OF THIS *****

Excellent song, once again. Must admit I'm surprised you elected to go with no bass! What's the matter, bust a string? I might even be tempted to download this and put one on, just to piss you off.  :D :D

Ha ha! I was determined to do the whole thing in 4 track only. I almost did add bass, but there was a fragile quality that would have got lost in the stupid guitarist's way I play bass.

Seriously, if you want a tinker, feel free!

... and a tasteful guitar solo on the final fade out verse!

Now you're taking the piss....She's on me MBR already, there is a tea brewing (Yorkshire Gold), I was supposed to be tidying the back yard today. That's me in deep doo-doo later.

I'm deadly serious. Though probably not as deadly serious as the look on mrs henwrench's face when she sees you with your headphones on and the yard undone! Of course, you'll also need a peaceful smoke on the pipe first to get in the 'zone'.

As for me, I'm thinking about Jagermeister bombs in the wetherspoons round the corner for lunch - two for a fiver.

Another fine tune Tim. I liked the stripped down feel...goes along with the theme. Good writing and excellent vocal delivery. Let's see now, this would be original song #...????
