This is our (Haylie and myself) contribution to the 70s Fest. According to Wikipedia:

"Dimming of the Day" is a song written by Richard Thompson and performed with his then-wife Linda Thompson on the 1975 album Pour Down Like Silver"

a great song anyway, the one I preferred by one of best British songwriters, IMO.

...and a good song to close Valentine Day too...after all, we all need some love, at the dimming of the day...

I've never liked my vocals on this (nothing to do with Alfredo's mixing - as we say in England, you can't make caviar out of a cheese sandwich - that's the polite version!)

So nearly a year on, I'd like to think I've improved my recording and vocal techniques (well recording at least) - my mic and vocal booth were already set up, so I had another crack at Dimming - the Revenge.
