Hi All,  I  just got my Micro BR and loving every minutue of it.
I am still learning how to use it, just learned how to save the drums to my recording thanks to this great forum.
The whole Main Guitar part was done in one take, no parts were added in, I wanted it to have a live quality to it.
The solos were done on the fly but there was a mistake with the first one, oh well.  Leads really are not my strong point.

well anyway please give a listen.

Thanks JIM ::)

Wow. This is some serious riff-mongering. What do you mean you don't really play lead?! This sounds amazingly fast and complicated to me. Splendid work   :)

When you said surfing, I was expecting Twangster. I wasn't expecting this fast riffola, really exciting. Sounds good to me, looking forward to more.

Cheers,

Ha! the surfing title got me too. A bit removed from Jan and Dean or The Beach Boys and sounds more like metal to these 60 yr old ears but well played with good feel.
I've done some of this with the Micro as some of the FX are so inspiring and it's a hell of a lot of fun.
I CAN see a soundtrack to a contemporary surfing movie in it so I see where you got it.

Re "surfing" - I assumed he was referring to Joe Satriani's (aka "Satch") song and album called "Surfing With The Alien", which is not surf music.

Nice Job, Jim.  Guitar Maniac is right.  I was thinking Judas Priest!
Cheers!
