After having covered 5 Swedish song, and working with some good friends on a 6th, I took a break and recorded this song from a very popular Danish group in the 70s : Gasolin'

Kept it simple this time, 2 acoustic, 2 electric + the lead, one mando, one bass, a couple of harmony vox and the lead vox ...oh well  ::)

It will come as no surprise that I don't know this song or the band (though the band name sounds vaguely familiar) but I love this recording. I especially like the "wah wah wah" vocals and the lead guitar solo.

I just had a listen to the original on YouTube and I think your version is much better, though I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't do the operatic vocal solo. ;D Just kidding. The guitar solo you did in place of it is much better.

Never heard it before, but I'm pretty sure I'd prefer your version anyway! Beautifully done. Your vocal is incredible on this one, and that solo is perfect - such tone, control and concise beauty. Excellent!!!!!!

Guess you have to be Scandinavian to have heard this. :)
Not one of my favourite songs from my childhood but it sure brings out some memories. ;D
Well delivered my brother. Good lead vocal.
