Acoustic(ish) reggae cover of a song by The Toyes from 1983, and made more famous by the band Sublime. It's WRONGLY attributed as being a Bob Marley song all over the internet.

Acoustic guitar, telecaster (x2) and bass, with a rhythm off a reggae drum loop app I have.

Nice work... love the reggae tempo and feel.
And I also like the idea of smoking 6 joints a day (2 morning, 2 evening, 2 afternoon) although I'd be on my ass after about 1/2 of the first one.

Sublime always makes me think of my wife, as she must've really liked them back in the day... she knows all the lyrics to all their songs from that album. A keeper, I know.
Okay to cover.

Rata-tat-tat

I love this song... you did it some real justice Greeny. I've been a fan of Sublime since the early 90's... Seen this song covere'd by many bands... I've always wanted to cover this one but never did... This would certainly be a hard act to follow... I bow to you Mr. Green. Well done!!!

Never heard it before, but this version is pretty darn good. Love the vocal - wasn't expecting to when I read "reggae"... wondered whether you could pull it off... but hey! nailed it Mr Green.

Great stuff.
Closer to the Sublime version than The Toyes, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Can't believe all of this is done on a humble Micro BR.
Great clean sound, with good stereo image.
Love the phased guitar panned left especially.

I smoked 2 joints before, during, and after i listened. Damn freakin unbelievable cover!! Sublime Sublime cover!!

I have to be honest. The percussion you used here brought your bass and vocals out more. MBR drums seem to drown out main tracks to me for some reason. But that`s just my ears. This sounds outta this world professional!
