I thought I'd try making a song with a "1984ish" feel.

It's Ok, It's Alright
Go back to bed, turn out the light
We'll look out for you, everything we say is true, you know it
You'll never step out of line, you'll always be to work on time, oh you know it
You can vote for one of two, pick whoever you choose, oh you know it
as long as you buy the hook sinker and line, you'll do just fine, oh we know it
well if you doubt our best intentions
don't go starting no insurrections here
and if you turn against us
we'll give you a new meaning of the word you know as fear
you'll be fine, as long as you mind
who's in charge, who's got the cards
it doesn't matter what you say, we're always gonna have our way, if it wasn't us it'd be someone else
it doesn't matter who you choose, we're never gonna lose, we own them like we own your self

Dig this a lot. You really sound like Bill Callahan, which is only gonna be a good thing. Love the placement of the vocals, works really well.

Love the vocals being panned away from the guitar like that - works so well. Great chord changes and songwriting, and the organ adds a very cool twist at the end. Excellent stuff.
