ODH

I can be a bit protective of Joy Division.  Don't worry, you did a good job.  I like

Again, thanks for the listen & comment. Glad you enjoyed it.
Quote from: Flash Harry on February 10, 2013, 02:13:06 PMI saw Joy Division at the Manchester Apollo back in either '79 or '80, it wasn't that long before Ian Curtis killed himself, they were supporting the Buzzcocks, but Joy Div just blew me away.
This has the same manic feel to it that they brought to the stage that day.
Thanks for the comparison. I never got to see JD, as the week they played in my area, my car was in dry dock :(
Got to see Peter Hook + The Light last year though, performing all of Unknown Pleasures. Great gig it was too.
Quote from: Greeny on February 11, 2013, 05:38:14 AMIt has that same hyperactive manic intensity that makes me think of Ian Curtis doing his crazy dancing to it.
Oh yes ... I can see him now. Cheers Greeny
Quote from: SwanSong on February 11, 2013, 05:32:19 PMGreat cover not familar with it but a superb sound and listen
Cheers. Please treat yourself by giving Unknown Pleasures & Closer a listen. Definitely worth it.
Quote from: cuthbert on February 11, 2013, 06:47:45 PMOld Joy Division fan here...very nicely done! I dig all the electronic atmospherics - they added a touch more mystery to it.
Thanks.Wasn't sure about the intro & ending, but it seemed to fit.
Quote from: Hilary on February 12, 2013, 02:39:01 AMV cool Mr Shark  8) I agree with Greeny, thought the bass was particularly fine
Thanks Hayles. I love the bass too. BR600 custom patch. Took quite a bit of knob twiddling (ooh err) to get that sound too! :o

Phew ... I can too. I nearly didn't do it, for fear of ruining it. However it turned out Ok ... I think

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
For those who haven't experienced the might of Joy Division ... try this:
This is not The Greatest Song in the World, no.
This is just a tribute. ;)
