Well I "liked" it earlier when I heard it on alonetone. Second listen here, and I love it! Might be because I'm sat between the speakers now (those guitars are FAB) rather than on the throne across the hallway last time!

Awesome! I love that guitar riff. And, as oldrottenhead pointed out, the Court of the Crimson King bit is cool too. What instruments did you use for that? Almost sounds like a Mellotron.

There's quite a bit of audible clipping distortion. Might be worth re-mastering at a lower level.

I love the wide panning of the two guitar parts. The interplay is great – almost like two guitarists who each feel the song a little differently. And the guitar tone – totally Henwrench. And the middle section with the... Are those flutes?

Here's the part where I show that I grew up in Phoenix: There's a Sun City Girls / Meat Puppets vibe to this, with the vaguely Arabic modes, inscrutable lyrics, and outsider attitude.
