Back for more...

     Wicked lyrics.

"as you watch the notes cascading through your narrowed little eyes"

"to shoot the pigeons from the dirty rooftops of your mind"

being amongst my favourite. Kinda reminds me of Laurie Anderson too. Her album Big Science is in my Top 10.
Add a touch of Dreaming era Bush, what's not to like?

You, sir, are bustin' 'em out.

I was hoping you'd 'get' / like this one. It definitely has some influence from you in the lyrics department!

Funny you should mention 'The Dreaming'... as I was doing this song, all I could think of was 'There Goes a Tenner', which has a similar pattern and feel musically. So that's very perceptive of you!

Kate Bush's song 'Homeground' was probably my first taste of this style of music

Before I could comment on the song, Higgins rang me and then I lost my train of thought, reading back through the comments, henwrench has pretty much summed it up, and I get the Kate Bush links as well.

Pictures of Crippin, lipstick smeared.....

Love the style and pointed prickly lyrics and all done with your usual amazing competence.  Brilliant in every way.

Oh, and thanks for the tip on Laurie Anderson henny, I don't have that album, I'll nip over to HMV this lunchtime and have a look for it ...... Oh .....  Bugger.

This is way off the beaten track for me, but absolutely love it! Interesting threads for Kate Bush, I had no idea & just goes to show we are always learning. Tim this is remarkable, love e lyrics and especially the vocal delivery...bravo, great song
