Hi folks,

Thought I would warm you up with not one but two completely different versions of a song!

Whoa! calm down Tony, must be the snow and ice in the UK giving me brain freeze.

So here is version one:
This is a guitar version of a song called 'Mighty Love :

And
This is the Dance Version of the same song 'Mighty Love'

Play loud.
Get Down, we dance all day here!

I much prefer the 'guitar' version. More earthy and 'real'. Love all that latin-flavoured strumming. Nice one! :-)

Tony
I much prefer the dance version - very enjoyable listen, and very well produced and mixed.

Thanks Bruno and Greeny,

Thats one vote each on the dance version or the original guitar version!

Tough call.

The dance version is way better recorded and produced so it's not exactly an easy apples to apples comparison but I like the dance version better. But who knows what the guitar version would sound like given a similar, quality recording and production treatment as the other? Good work on the dancer!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

DrZiggy

Thanks Farrell.

Glad you enjoyed the dance version, yes it is more professionally recorded.

But the jury is still out at the moment as it is only 2:1 in favour of the Dance Version.

That is unless there is a late rush on the Guitar Version, I guess it is the origin of the dance version. But recording it in the kitchen on guitar I had always seen it as a dance track.
