70sFest (banner image missing)

Jerry Livingston and Paul Francis Webster took the melody from an old English folk song, The Riddle Song, and wrote their own lyrics and added a bridge and it became, The Twelfth of Never. Donny Osmond covered it in 1973 (I was 8 yrs old).

I love both songs :)

Hunting You Tube for weird old 70's songs last night, I came across "Brandy" by Looking Glass, and this opus was in the sidebar.
