1973- This was also the year that little Hook joined this mortal coil. Had a little bit of time today in NSS today recorded this LITLR with the mbr. I've played this many times in a duo I use to be in called The Hook Ups, with a local singer Lisa Casolina,  http://www.myspace.com/thehookupstampa. I had never sang it or played it on uke until yesterday. I made the call to change the gender (him/his to she/her) and I also changed "letters" to "thoughts" in the 2nd verse.

I used to have to sing it in a duo too  ??? - nowhere near as classy as your duo though!

So we finally get to see you then  :D

Love it Hook, the little pauses between verses add to the intimacy of it all, and the way you transpose songs onto the Uke never ceases to amaze.

One of my late mom's favourite tunes. I've heard this song many times growing up. You did this some real justice Hookster.  LOVE IT!!!
