This song was inspired by a scene from film "Invictus":
The Rugby players visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.
They drive pass the Stone quarry where the prisoners worked, and visit the cells.
The main actor, Matt Damon, enters Mandela's small cell and stretches out his arms to touch wall to wall, hence the dimensions "six by six" feet. The cell had wooden stool, chamber pot and a blanket on the floor, as the bed. The tour guide tells how the prisoners would drop grit in the corridors so that they could hear the guards approaching.

I always know I'm going to hear real quality when I click the play button on your songs. This is excellent; clear and confident with a real sense of drama in the vocal melody and way you deliver it. It almost sounds like a song from a musical. Perhaps it could be the start of a new project?! To write a Nelson Mandela musical! Sheer quality all round my friend.

p.s. I liked that film a lot. Not least because my best friend was in it - albeit as an extra in the various bar scenes! He got to meet his great hero Clint Eastwood though who directed this film.
