Speed Demon

Thank you, LP, Greeny.

The first time I played this song live was on a fill-in gig at a club in Webster, Massachusetts.
The Fuzzy Grape.

When I got the call for the job I inquired as to what type of club we would be gigging at.
I was told it was a rock club and I should bring the big amps. I did. Two 100 watt Ampeg heads, each driving two 4X12 cabinets.

Those in the audience that survived the first set were ecstatic about the music.
There must be something magical about booze, pot and LSD that makes everything sound better.

It turned out to be a good gig. Not more than three people went into convulsions on the dance floor. Guess I wasn't playing loud enough.

Kenny, Mach, thanks for listening, and for your kind assessment.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me, making music with Trevor. He does such an awesome job of everything. Makes doing the instrument work a real pleasure for me. Trevor will turn it into a superb arrangement.

If this keeps up I may have to re-fret a guitar or two next year. Wearing them out like brake shoes, lately.

Mach, Kenny, thank you, gentlemen.

This song is a flashback to times when I played with heavily amplified rock bands.
As I remember, a lot of those young musicians could definitely whip ass on guitars.
Made for some interesting gigs. (did I mention LOUD?)
