Have any of you gigged in some rough places?

In my last band, my brother and I were jacked up by an old lady in the parking lot after a gig.  She was angry because he wouldn't stop playing a ripping guitar lead during "Wild Horses" to play "Happy Birthday" for her 80^th.  That was our last gig there.  Something about octogenarians with an attitude just shook us to the core.
