a tribute to one of the many fine bands on this good ship.

the museum of oddities
they blow my mind
they play for hours on end
the museum of oddities
i am their fan
listen for hours on end
sometimes i just wanna dance
sometimes i just wanna sing
the museum of oddities
they blow my mind
drift off to another place
where the sun always shines
the museum of oddities
they blow my mind
the museum of oddities
they ride the wave
they play for hours on end
the museum of oddities
the greatest band
i hope they never end
sometimes i just wanna dance
sometimes i just wanna sing
the museum of oddities
they blow my mind
i just wanna dance
i just wanna dance
the museum of oddities
they make me wanna dance

Greeny

This is excellent, James. It has the feel of Radiohead when they went all 'Kid A'. Love the jerky beats combined with the gentle uke. Great song, and great song title!

Hook

I agree with Greeny' love that contrast! When did you get a kaossilator? I want one!
I dig M of O also &  I dig your song but blooby might want to cancel that trip to Scotland.

Nice tribute to MoO, and some cool sounds from your new toy. You must be having the time of your life with that Kaossilator. It seems like the perfect tool for the way that you create music and I'm sure that you're taking to it like a duck to water.

Blooby

Again, being honored and disturbed are not mutually exclusive.

I will listen a bit later as I'm a bit wary of potential questionable lyrical content.

A very nice tribute Jim -  I dig how you integrated the kaossilator with the uke so well. Like two great tastes that go together (and now I want one of those thingies as well).

Special note to Blooby: you know he's a good fella - just don't let 'im near your leg when he hab bin drinking!  :D

Beyond the sentiment, I really enjoyed the understated uke, especially against the heavily stereoed percussion.  Very cool.

Very cool and thanks!

Think John (Lurcher) should get a mention too, he's been kissed by an angel's wing and been given a precious gift - aka he can't half sing!
