Very well done, Tim...you've brought a directness and acoustics that were missing from the original, and of course that magic Greeny touch.

I kinda liked this song back in the day, although nothing else I heard by the Thompson Twins ever grabbed my ear. I've even considered covering this one myself someday. You've raised the bar.

Well i'm not ashamed to admit I love the original, it's perfect 80s pop, puts todays pop to shame.
I always thought the Thompson Twins were a little bit different.

Great idea to cover and a top job, was looking forward to a listen all day after seeing your post from work.

1983? Damn! I was 8 yo, and I still remember when it went out! My older sisters where into pop to my parent's disappointment, and I remember peeking at their videos (carefully recorded with a betamax video) and LPs.

I'm surprised this one has gone down quite well. I almost didn't post it. I have a very over-critical view of cover songs when I do them. Almost to the point that I don't do many. Too much responsibility or something...
