2013 newest production - Try to do something- *video

Just finished a project and wanted to share it.
Its a re-recording of a song I wrote and recorded last year. I knew I could do a better mix and the song was worth the time. And so much so I wanted to make a video of me playing it.
nothing fancy just playing thru the song.

I can dig this, just feel that the audio quality coming down the YouTubes ain't doing you any favours!! Maybe try posting the highest quality mp3 you can...that'll do it!

I dig this two - nicely heavy. Great job musically and with the vid. I really like the gruff vocals without going into screamo (although I could here this track breaking out into a bit of that :-) )
Would be nice to post the audio track as well?

I hear lil things i could fix but i already begun the next project.

I got back into recording last year after a three year hiatus and seem to be making better productions everytime.
This and a few other songs i had where the reason why i had to begin again. I didnt want to ever forget it and to be able to share feels great.

Sweet, thanks everyone. I havent got any response to it yet besides the vid is boring and empty. (another site) Its empty cause im doing it all by myself lol. one guy in a widescreen shot haha.
its nice to hear anything on it after all the work I put into it.

I try hard to make the music or guitar carry enough emotion, that it could stand on its on. Then work from there. been a long time but I think the song was orginally acoustic. its much easier to write lyrics to a song that moves you or urges you to wanna sing.

And to bruno's comment, the gruff stuff, i was conscious of when and where Id put it in the song. It sounds good but I didnt want to overuse it. give it some edge but keep its humble tone if that makes sense.

And about the equipment I gathered it would cost over $3k to remake this video with all hardware and software involved.   luckily I had most the stuff.
