Here we are, just creeping into the 1970's with a B52's cover.
Recorded entirely on a Boss BR-800 by Voodoo John, except for the bass (recorded on a Boss BR-600), by me.

VJ messaged me today to say it was ready, so without further ado ... here it is:

Audio also attached, for those who prefer to listen with their eyes shut  ;D

This is right on my alley!

The video is amazing, as well as the cover! Very very professional.
I asked for bankruptcy for 2012, so I shouldn't comment your goo goo muck, but it is too good to let it pass!
I love that song and listening to your version brought me lots of funny memories! Thanks!

I'm a big fan of this song, and man, you really nail it. I played this to death when it came out. In fact, you have quite a bit more punch on the bass and guitar driving it along than the B52's. Gives it some serious welly. Fab, fab cover!

magic, back in the day  i did the "dead fly" to this one. i once danced the dead fly to this at the local punk disco on a friday night at "the bouli" (a few on here will know what i am talking about there)dressed in a girlfriends summer frock, tho i did wear hiking boots and thick woolly sox. i am mighty glad there are no photos and was probably lucky not to be stabbed.

anyway back to the song a personal fave of mine and brilliantly reimagined.

Very cool version, I particularly like the B52's stuff from around this time.

You got that driving rhythm down to a tee, great vocal and loving all the "spacey" additions

I do vaguely remember this from back in the day.  Your version is a great listen though, glad I managed to catch it.
