while rolling past the river
a day that sure was cold
reflecting on things gone before
perhaps till now untold
mistook a stranger for a pal
in the old school halls
spun around right quick
and kicked him in the balls

man!  that was funny...

same pal and I out shopping
on the escalator up
i knock off his hat
in his hand a cup
with reflex tried to grab it
not the quickest bloke
missed the hat, but showered
other shoppers there with coke

a horse-drawn ice cream cart
is comin' down the pike
so I take off runnin'
to get some of what I like
when I get there I notice
I haven't any dough
and so I stand beside the road
and watch the horsie go...
