Breaking The Sticks

If you nail four sticks together to form a rectangle, they can be deformed into a parallelogram without too much effort.  But if you nail three sticks together to form a triangle, the shape cannot be changed without actually breaking the sticks or the nails.

Years ago I participated in a performance art piece by my brother.  I was to play percussion, but we didn't have any drums.  So a fashioned a kit out of buckets, tupperware, frisbees and hubcaps.  Recording this reminded me of those times, tapping everything in sight to see how it sounds...
