Happy new year one and all  :)

I've knocked out 10 tracks in 10 days, and this is one of them  :D

It all started with Thumbjam releasing a new accordion patch. I've always loved that french accordion sound, so I wanted to get it onto a song. This is what came out, and I'm really happy with it (for once!).

Acoustic guitars, bass, and various Thumbjam bits and bobs, all recorded on the MBR.

Love this one. Very good and clear production.
Oh-la la.. great hook - it's in my head. :)

Can't wait for the other nine after this!

A wonderful wistful and dreamy song, wonderfully written and constructed, and delivered with your usual precision and style, and contains plenty of fabulous hooks.

Once again you have made some wonderful Thumbjam additions, the accordian sounds bloody great, and it is beautifully placed in the mix within the chorus.

Downloaded Thumbjam yesterday for the Ipad, purely on the basis of how you have used it recently within your songs.

Brilliant!

I think you're going to have a lot of fun with it! Restraint is the key thing... just adding enough to enhance the song. It's easier than it sounds though... especially for someone like me who loved what Jeff Lynne did with ELO!

I'm very happy I can pair your comment on this wonderful one. some envy for your thumb-something , but the most for your catchy title/hook with the underlying accordion line, groovy!

Ethereal, laid back and catchy!! Loved the accordion - it sounds so real...Damn...Thumbjam is probably available only on iPhone :( .

Ah, another great Greeny Monday, and Happy New Year! Very tasteful use of accordion (one of these days, I must look into Thumbjam), and that is one catchy chorus.

And now looking forward to the other nine! :)

Excellent track - as always Tim.
Accordion's are a funny thing, I kind of have a love/hate relationship with them. Used in context they sound fantastic, but when I was young, I hated the accordion. The thumbjam one sounds very authentic.
