and festive lighting down
a grand baguette adventure
had earlier in  town
prepared for a fine evening
but what about the year?
coming ready or not
th' future's never clear

bozos fiddle in the halls
think that we can't see
actually they are quite right
land of the so-called free
nothing to be done about it
worrying'd be dumb
might as well learn how to make
some good hot buttered rum

ol' dick was not immortal
he is erect no more
a ball will fall in any case
with luck before I snore
