Well here it is, a cover of the Barry Grey masterpiece, recorded originally for for the late 1960's TV series
Wikipedia - Joe 90

I had it in an unfinished state for a few weeks & after it was announced that Gerry Anderson had passed away, I decided to complete it.

Recorded as follows:
  • Used IPad - Garageband for drums, percussion & keyboards. Then exported & imported to BR-600
  • Added bass (Vintage EST96) using a custom patch.
  • Added rhythm guitar (Washburn HB35) again using a custom patch
  • Added lead guitar (Schecter PT) using a Zoom G3
  • Imported BIG RAT sound
  • Added more lead guitar (again Schecter PT) using a Zoom G3
  • Mixed & Mastered on BR-600 using a custom patch

As per usual all comments/constructive criticism gratefully received.

Sounds awesome Sharks, I don't know the show or the tune but I can imagine marionettes barely moving around and me being completely captivated by it. Well done!

blast from the past Joe 90
As a kid, Joe 90 was one of my favourite programs. I always remember being disappointed that the opening credits stated "Technicolour", but it was always in black and white. As I grew older, I realised we only had a black and white TV!!
Life (or was it me) was simple then  ;D

Cheers everyone for your kind words.

Wow! This is absolutely brilliant!

I'm the same as you - Joe 90 was a major thing for me as a kid. I always though he was spinning round whilst sitting on the toilet at the start!

A very evocative theme tune and I like how you've been faithful to the vibe whilst updating it to a more modern sound. You can tell the original was channeling the Joe Meek sound big-time. Really nicely done!
