This is a song I wrote recently.
I have had an idea to the lyrics for a while but I couldn't get it out.
But here it is.
Exiled

Exiled to the land of sorrow.
There's no return, the border's closed.

Walking through this wasteland.
Can not see the end.
There is so much to learn again.

Exiled to the land of sorrow.
There's no return, the border's closed.

No roads no shelter to be found.
Endless work, no rest in sight.

Bridge

Exiled to the land of sorrow.
There's no return, the border's closed.

One day closer - at the end of the day.
I must live for you.

Exiled to the land of sorrow.
There's no return, the border's closed. x3

This is something special, Jarle! Really melodic and beautiful piece of music! The production is top class! I thought your instrument is drums, but you're a real multi instrumentalist, singer and songwriter! This is fantastic song!

Learning the BR800 (including recording and production techniques), electric guitar and bass in less than 2 months and producing a quality piece like this is a major feat !!!

BRAVO Jarle !! This is really excellent. And the lyrics turned out rather fabulous as well !!

You've been holding out on us Jarle. I knew you could hold your own on the drums and I remember really enjoying your voice before, but this is just really great songwriting and producing, well done! Hey if Geir wants his 800 back, doesn't he have a mbr you can borrow?

I ain't tellin' you no lie

Thank you for the nice comments.
Yes Kari, my instrument is drums. But I have been playing acoustic guitar for about six years or so. What Geir says:

is sort of true. I have had a good teacher brother. ("Sounds weird to say brother to my own brother" - yes it makes sense) ;)
