The Light Pours Out of Me

My recent fascination / obsession with the Devoto-era Buzzcocks is over.  Here's an early Magazine song.

Was going to be done unplugged style - the guitar parts were originally guide parts to be replaced with acoustic parts.  I got to like them as they are.  Everything was recorded dry and only treated with some reverb.

Hope you enjoy...

I really like the arrangement, it hooks you in from the start. I had to check out the original, as I've never heard of them (way too cool for me) and you've done a great cover here Nick. That's one of the many things I like about this site, exposure to music I wouldn't ordinarily have heard.

Great cover Nick. They used to play this at Roxy/Bowie nights at Bluto's in Wigan when I was a teenager many moons ago! Always thought it was a fantastic song - good choice !

Thanks, Jim, that's one of the nicest things anyone's ever said about one of my recordings.
