I'm holding an end-of-the-world breakfast for my team at work.  Coincidentally, it's also the day we break up for two weeks.  Yes!

On 12-21-2012 I'll wake up at my usual 5:30 am, step out and get the daily news rag, and put on the coffee. After some breakfast cereal, news, and coffee I'll shower and put on some clean chonies (underwear) just in case, lol.  And then........I'll try out my new VOX SDC 33 Gold Top guitar that should arrive this evening, 12-20-2012!

So in summary: it's going to be a normal day for me just doing normal stuff......with the exception of getting the new VOX guitar. I'm really looking forward to 12-21-2012 for that reason. Hopefully the guitar will inspire a new song out of me.....maybe I'll call it "I Survived 12-21-12"

Oh almost forgot, I will be attending an annual gathering with friends for spirited refreshments...this year it's called The Christmas Eve, Eve, Eve, Eve & End of World gathering

OK, it's the 21st here and the TV is still on, the interwebthingy is still on and even Neil Finn is still here and he is in Australia.

The Mayans were right, it was just the end of a calendar, all the chocolate gone out of this one.

It's Dec 21 now in the U.K and Europe. Are they still with us?

How about Australia? They're from the future. I think it was Dec 21 there sometime last week. Does Oz still exist?

Is the world supposed to end separately in each time zone? If not, and it's all supposed to end simultaneously, then I assume it's when it's Dec 21 in all time zones, which isn't until 11:00 AM GMT.



Ah. I see that, while I was typing, Flash Harry reported that he's still with us. Thank heavens! Without Flash Harry, there'd be no Songcrafters. Without Songcrafters, who cares if the world ends.
