A song from Muse's fourth album "Black Holes and Revelations" using a couple of acoustic guitars, a shaker and the piano setting on my Yamaha keyboard (reading the rules I think that's allowed ;))

I don't know the original, but this is wonderful - loved the guitar & piano combo with Sasha's voice. Pretty big fan of that shaker as well. :)

oh that's where I've been going wrong!

You've got a great thing going on there - what a lovely song and I really like what you both did with it - congrats.

I actually am familiar with the original.  Like a lot of Muse songs, it's more like a mathamatical research paper than a pop song.

I love how you've humanized it and made a lovely, musical piece out of it.  There's a nice relaxed feel about the whole performance, nice vocal.  Love that piano motif.

That shaker's nice too.  Come to think of it, I've got a shaker we brought back from Tobago; it's got Tobago and a palm tree carved into it.  Expect to hear that appearing in a song soon.

Lovely stuff

Listened to the original via YouTube at first, because I'm not familiar with it...

Nice acoustic feel on this! I prefer Tangled Wires version! In my opinion, this more minimalistic  way of performing just works better on this tune. Beautiful music!

I'd listen to Tangled Wires over Muse every time! Don't know the original (I avoid Muse like my life depends on it...), but I love the way you've done this... bright, airy and organic. Very cool job.
