welcome! speaking of mersey, i was hugely influenced by many british bands during the british invasion, including the mersey beat. i think that's what it was called its like almost 50 yrs ago

50 years ago  don't remind me. That is exactly the time I was playing and actually played at the same gig with a group called the Merseybeats. It doesn't feel like almost 50 years ago so it probably did me no harm.
