Hey guys I have a little presentation I have to make and I have a tone of pictures I would like to organize into a slide show tomorrow night. I know a lot of you guys are familiar with this stuff, any suggestions on an easy, I mean stupid easy way to put this together. I could use power point but that seems kinda silly? Thanks in advance!

windows movie maker is a good program. you can add music as well as pics. i did vids with pics for some of my songs on youtube. it's relatively easy.

If you want to make a video out of your pictures, I'd suggest PhotoFilmStrip.

However, since you said this is for a presentation, I assume you don't want a video since you'll need to be able to advance to the next picture manually at the appropriate time in the presentation rather than just letting the pictures whiz by while you talk. So you probably just need a simple image viewer program. There are many available for Windows. One that's popular is IrfanView.

It lets you save your images along with the program in a single .exe file which you can then run from your laptop at the presentation and advance from slide to slide by pressing the space bar.

For formal presentations, I always use Powerpoint. Nothing 'dry' about it if you choose your images and words carefully. I never use effects or sounds though - they are a bit too gimmicky these days.
