Don't know how I missed the bump during CityFest (although the song was posted originally before I joined). Nothing too strummy about this to my ears, Nigel! Definitely sounds ahead of its time. Glad to have finally caught up with this Songcrafters Classic!

Great bump. I saw this next to Greeny's and wanted a listen before I hear his take on it. Jangly Brit-pop goodness here. When I saw the date, it reinforced how lucky we are to have this community. Some folks go, some return, but the spirit of this smallish and unfailing positive community remains. And as for you, Nigel, you give some of the most measured and thoughtful feedback on this site, which I can safely say is appreciated by all.

Good to hear this..so this is about 40 years old now? Bloody hell it sounds great Nigel. I can hear that 80's indie type of sound. It's a bit like a " smiths" song. All The music is really good. The guitar has that Johnny marr sound.
And your singing is great.
Love the lyrics. Great song.
