Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. - I pretty much lost track of this site around when it changed from microrecorders.org, not for any dislikes, just busy schedule etc etc.

Ted, yeah it's an 8-string like the top one you posted, with octave paired strings, just not nearly as nice as the one in the photo!

I haven't done too much on the microbr lately except just recording ideas and putting together playback tracks for work, but my recording pc recently crashed and needs to be rebuilt so I guess I will be using the microbr more until I get that situation fixed.

Great piece, I'm not technical enough to recognise the time signatures but something definitely sounds different about that tune - you've conjured up a desolate sonic wasteland there, it goes to some dark and brooding places but it all hangs together perfectly

I've been listening to lots of Rush for years now, so I'm starting to recognise 7/8 when I hear it, but I can't play in it and make it sound as natural as this.
