I download 5 stereo files from the Br-800 to my computer via the wave converter. Each one turned out to be about 51 mb in 16-bit conversion. Took between 60-90 seconds total. 8) I was expecting way longer. I've changed my opinion on the wave converter: it's fast and really easy to use.

BOSS BR - 800, is great device. Main function isn't using that unit for interface recording, so that USB connection is OK. Yes, it's sad, that they' re using old technology, but I never had any problem with that fact. I'm just really surprised, that BR - 800 is still on same price here in UK, like nearly 2 years ago, when I bought it...I don't know why...

I agree...the BRWC is way faster than import/export, which are slow as molasses even on the BR-80, which has USB-2 support.

I use it all the time for getting things in and out of my BR recorders.
