Hey all... Since my drums are packed in a corner... I decided to play with "Hydrogen"... I love it!!!! Here is the result... Sorry about the lead!!! It makes a darn good festival submission!!!   If someone feels the need to put some bass and lead on there feel free!!!

BTW... I'm hangin the "Hydrogen" track for anyone that wants to use it.

Great version Tod. Those hydrogen drums sound really great. Love the rocker feel to the track, and great vox.
Boogie on.

Tod, Have been thinking about those Hydrogen drums. Generally I have a low view of drum machines - but you have programmed them so well on this track that they sound like a real drummer. My conclusion is that I think that is because you are a real drummer, so know what sounds real, and what a real drummer would and would never play. I wonder if that is the crux of why drum machines always sound so artificial, not so much the samples - but more down to the programming!!!

Hey Bruno... That is definately the magic sauce... This the one thing I liked about hydrogen... I can loop each sequence and adjust on the fly... I had to ramp up the bpm on this to 240... I did the fills as if I were going to actually play them... So yes I think it does help to have some experience, but with hydrogen anyone with a good ear should be able to lay down some tasty beats... Thanks for kind words Bruno glad you liked the track.

Great job, Tod. Not sure what it is but something about this reminds me of The Move. Perhaps a hint of Roy Wood in your vocals.

The drums sound great. I think Bruno's right; drummers generally make better drum machine programmers than guitarists.

Hydrogen is a great drum program. I recently found that you can create patterns in Hydrogen by pressing certain keys on your computer's keyboard, so that you can actually play the beats rather than just program them. You can also connect a midi drum pad to Hydrogen. I'd love to give that a try with something like the Korg nanoPAD or Akai LPD8.

You know if you didn`t say you used Hydrogen, I wouldn`t have guessed cuz from listening to you for a couple years now it sounds like your style you`d do on your own kit! Wicked good and give us more whenever you can!!!

yeah, wicked good fun all around.  You almost sound like you have Launched in there on backing vocals.  Mark, is that you?  Infectiously grooving.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
