Most of my vocals go through the 'Onboard1' effect. I like it's clarity, but it's quite unforgiving (i.e. nowhere to hide!). For backing vocals I'll use 'Delay1' which adds a bit of depth. Some of my backing vocals are also recorded 'live' at the same time as the acoustic guitar - this adds a nice dimension and distance to the sound. I've also used ORH's favourite 'ForNylon'. It all depends on the song really...  :)

Thanks, I'll give OnBoard a try as well. The ForNylon gives quite a spacey effect which worked well with the song I was doing. trouble is I've got to write some stuff now instead of redoing 30 year old songs (I have several more of those) and I struggle to create a finished article - it's like giving birth for me. Your rate of production of quality material is astounding!

Cheers,

Nigel

I'm still in the 'honeymoon phase' with my BR. Even after 8 months, it's still giving me a buzz and urging me to use it. And the material and collaborations on here have fed my creativity too.

And there's nothing wrong with revisiting old songs and giving them a new lease of life. It'll all be new to us!  ;)
