I got to thinking..............

Will you still remember my name when i'm dead and gone
cause that's all thats left is this here song
nothing left but a voice on a tape
wurring around out there in space
Now what do you think they'll think of me
in a lifetime or a century
will what i think still relate cause that kinda internal debate
or will it all be put to the past and tape wont even last
and no one will hear this someone at all

will they just think me a fool
who's thoughts are a little confused
i couldn't complain cause most of the time i' feel bemused
sometimes i don't even understand what the hells going on inside my mind
why i have this yearning to sing and relate to someone i'll never l meet

life goes on and i have this need to communicate to my breed
i have this yearning to let it all out to try find out what i'm about
to release whats going on inside so it don't go and explode my mind
i got to let it out, i got to let it go, and i don't really care what you think of me
cause i feel better for this release in me

This caught my attention. What do you use to get the vocals to come out like that. It's a really good job.

I use Logic Pro and the Ringshifter effect for the vocal on this ....the page below describes it http://documentation.apple.com/en/logicexpress/effects/index.html#chapter=9%26section=7%26tasks=true which allows you to mess around with the frequency of the sound and get some pretty cool sounds.....Hope that helps...thanks for listening.....
