Oh well ........

First of all - you're a bastard, cause I wanted to cover this tune.  ;D

Then on second thought - I don't think I could have ever done it justice like this.
You really did a good job on this one man. Those vocals are great, the slide solo rules, and the recording is clear and crisp.

I have been enjoying it thoroughly!
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Bluesberry

Ditto of the Ditto........you know..........on fire.........standing 10 feet tall.........walking on water.......pissing in the rain..........this is a very good cover of an iconic and much loved song, its hard to imagine how you pulled this off, so like you did, spectactularily, like you did.....

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Knockout!
It was great until the slide guitar bit came in. And then it turned FANTASTIC.

Oh yes, one of my favourite Who songs too.
Wasn't sure when it started with acoustic panned far left (thought my earphones were playing up again).
Then it happened ... Wow, great version. Almost expected Keith Moon to start that all too familiar drum roll in the intro.

As others have said, inspired slide. Great vocals too.

Only a small thing, but would've loved you to've kept the staccato rhythm guitar going for the whole song, but maybe that's me being a little too purist as Townshends rhythm playing is the hook line for me.

Nice

Thanks for the great comments!! :)

Good point made Shark. I`m totally agreeing with you but sometimes my recordings are heat of the moment and on the fly so i think i just flowed playing with the tambourine on it that day. I do remember saying to myself i wish i played it this way but i always do that :D..and i guess it is what it is. I`m not too fussy with covers to be exact really. I certainly can`t sing like Roger Daltrey either!! LOL
