I'm sure that it was worth Everett's time and effort just to see the look on Bruce's face.  I had a feeling that this might happen after the way Bruce was drooling over the guitars that Everett brought by the last time he sat in with us.  He doesn't make guitars for anything but the joy of making and playing them.  It's brought him more joy knowing one of his good friends is enjoying his creation.

I'm not shocked, Bruce.  I knew he wanted to make you a guitar.  I saw it on his face.  You said that you would have to commission one some day.  Well, you did.  You don't owe Everett anything but to play that guitar.  That's why he built it.  Enjoy.

My brother just built an electric guitar...he had a lot of help along the way and it WAS STILL an unbelievably long, difficult, painstaking process that i could NEVER do. The patience, the attention to detail on your guitar, and the overall beauty of the beast from top to bottom is just incredible. Wonderful resaw on the bookmatched maple cap...and the top almost looks like it's carved in that one photo. What a treasure. True work of art!
