Nice guitar playing Willie.

Once again, I find myself having to clarify what UnpluggedFest is meant to be. I just listened to the original version of "All Shook Up" by Elvis Presley and it does not sound very electric. The dominant instruments are acoustic piano and acoustic upright bass. Sure, there's probably some electric guitar in there too but it's not very noticeable. The idea of UnpluggedFest is to take a song that is very electric (distorted electric guitars, synths, organs, etc.) and record it entirely with acoustic instruments. In other words, you're supposed to take a song that's very "plugged-in" and "unplug" it by replacing all of the electric instruments with acoustic instruments. You can't do an unplugged version of a song that was never plugged-in in the first place. This isn't AcousticFest where anything qualifies as long as it's played acoustically. And it isn't SimplifyFest where you can take any song and reduce it to just guitar and vocals. The song has to be obviously electric in its original version. You can simplify it if you want to but you don't have to. You can use as many instruments as you like as long as they're all acoustic. But the important thing that some people are overlooking is that the original song has to be electric. Otherwise, you're not doing an unplugged cover; you're just doing an acoustic cover of an acoustic song.

See the following message in the Current Festivals topic:

https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=15659.msg209159#msg209159

I've added your song to the festival anyway, but I hope that everyone will make more of an effort to choose electric songs to cover for UnpluggedFest. Most heavy metal, hard rock, punk, and synth pop songs would be good candidates for UnpluggedFest, but you can choose from other genres too as long as the dominant instruments in the song are obviously electric.

Hey Willie,
Good job, great guitar sound, and the playing is spot on. This one draws you in, as its very different version - quite unique. I'm going for another listen.
