Hello!

Päivi did vocals and percussion (egg shaker and "kitchen" bell). I played Ortega guitar! The bass line is from my Ortega nylon string guitar as well. Recorded on Micro BR. The original tune by The Ramones.

Here we go  ;D

Fabulous! I love the vocals and your arrangement of this song. It almost has a 50s quality to it. Cool percussion too.

Love it, Kari & Päivi!   :)

Päivi, your voice reminds me a bit of Ronnie Spector in places, who I think was a big influence on Joey Ramone (Kari probably knows I'm a Ramones fan  ;D ).  And Kari, it's so cool how you play these Ramones guitar chords so jazzy!

Great arrangement and cover!

I knew you're Ramones fan :) . I had a dream to arrange and record an unplugged/recycled version of this. I recorded and sung this on Friday and asked Päivi re-record the vocal track. She wasn't familiar with the original, so at first we watched the original on YouTube.

I modified the chords a bit and played it different way from the original (e.g. I added one Am7 chord on chorus). Hmmm...agree with you of Ronnie Spector comparison :) .

This is very cool, as soon as I seen the song I had to have a listen, it's a fantastic arrangement and a fabulous vocal, well done, an outstanding version I'm sure Joey would have loved as well!
