just shut your eyes and sing the first thing that comes out your mouth via your belly/heart/muse whatever they call it, thats what i do, it doesn't always work first time but some you win some you lose but it is good fun.

I once did that, I was jamming with some of my friends and improvising some words and sounds while we recorded everything. Then later my friend listened to the recording and wrote what he thought I was saying. The result was pretty funny and although he nailed most of the words, the words he got wrong were in fact synonyms or related in some way to the original words I said.

I just listened to a radioshow where they where discussing the replacements for peter gabriel in Genesis when he left ... and many good people where auditioned and asked (amongst other the Norwegian singer Jan Teigen) ... one that wasn't mentioned was our own mr Higgins .....

what were they thinking ???  .... ok you were a bit young then .... but they could have waited !!!

Yeah .. he is .... eeehhh was .. ... well When Peter left and they had tried out a lot of other singers, they found out that Phil could do the vox anyway
